Students at the New Sweden School recently participated in the traditional Swedish St. Lucia ceremony, bringing light to the darkest day of the year. In front from left, dressed in brown and depicting the Pepparkakkor Gubars are: Jacob Smart, Ethan Edgecomb, Reid Margeson, Nicholas Margeson, Evan Margeson and Jordon Smart. Those dressed in red, representing the Tomtegubars are: Oliver Peterson, Hannah Beauchamp, Mikaela Spooner, George Ferland, Amalla Peterson and Elliot Brown.
