Sandy Marrett, owner of Works of Heart in Caribou, carries artistic pieces from over 28 local artisans who specialize in everything from wrought iron hooks to fabric plates; shown above, Marrett, at left, received a new pieces of artwork for the store from Ashland artisan Heather Bessey, at right. Bessey showed Marrett the items she’d crafted when dropping the new batch off pieces at Works of Heart. The store can be reached at 492-0860 and is located at 1 Water Street in Caribou.
