CARIBOU — On October 29th State Representatives Peter Edgecomb of Caribou and Bernard Ayotte of Caswell presented Mary Lou Nelson of New Sweden with a Legislative Sentiment in recognition of her 50 years of service as a Lab Tech and Phlebotomist at Cary Medical Center in Caribou. Mary Lou was also recognized by her peers and co-workers who all mentioned how appreciated and highly respected she was. Her fellow workers also mentioned how they all had learned so much from her over the years and what a wonderful and patient person she was to work with.
Cary Medical Center also gave her a $1,000 check to be used on a vacation to any place of her choice. She was heard to say, “Alaska here I come.”
