To the editor:
Once again, citizens of Caribou, it is time for your voices to be heard on Nov. 2, 2010. Your voices were heard in June when you voted for the Charter Commission to be established.
Now, we need your support to elect open-minded people who will look out for the citizens of Caribou in both the Charter Commission and City Council. We need someone who will use a common sense approach to bring our charter up to date and people who will sit on the council and work for us, who have our best interest in mind and who will explore all avenues before making a decision that will affect all of us, young and old alike. Someone who will bring the city forward instead of letting it vanish.
Remember to vote on Nov. 2, 2010. Let your voices be heard, every vote counts! It is the only way to have a say in the way our city government is run.
