Winnie and Leola Sparks, 93 and 94 respectively, former long-time residents of Caribou recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. United in marriage on July 7, 1935, by Rev. Gorman at the Baptist Church in Caribou, the couple were honored by family and friends with a dinner party held July 10.
The Sparks have four daughters, including: Dolores Respass of East Brunswick, N.J.; Mary Marr of Kissimmee, Fla; Lorraine Stearns of Parma, Ohio, and Cynthia McFarren of Metuchen, N.J.
Currently residing in East Brunswick,, N.J. the couple also have 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
