Over 180 youths from seven communities came together to celebrate the end of a fun-filled summer recreation program. Recreation departments throughout the County hold their own summer camps and end it all with the County Fun Day, where all the departments get together to celebrate.

This year’s special entertainer was “T-Bone,” a children’s summer camp entertainer out of Bristol, Conn.  He had the kids singing, dancing, parading and jumping through hula-hoops. The campers also enjoyed kayaking, swimming, volleyball, basketball and jumping inside the “bouncy castle” while doing tricks and flips.

The  day culminated with a roasted hot dog feast and with the kids already talking about coming back next year.

Communities participating were Madawaska, St. Agatha, Limestone, Washburn, Bridgewater, Easton and Ashland.
