Jayne Farrin, Caribou city clerk, reminds Caribou residents that nomination papers are currently available at the city office for anyone interested in seeking election to any of the municipal seats which will become vacant next year.
The available positions include two three-years terms on the Caribou City Council; one three-year term on the RSU39 Board of Education; one seat on the Jefferson Cary Board of Directors; and six candidates will be selected to serve as members of the Caribou Charter Commission.
Nomination papers must be completed and returned to the city office by 5 pm. On Friday, Sept. 17.
