LIMESTONE — Roughly 125 hungry and celebratory participants gathered at the new building of Caldwell’s Auto LLC to celebrate the new parts facility and the grand opening of Caldwell’s sanitation. The news of the new facility and business were celebrated through a festive gathering of community members as Caldwells’ staff served up chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, drinks, pasta salad, potato salad and beverages to the lunch-time crowd that was also served an opportunity to speak with independent gubernatorial candidate Shawn Moody of Gorham and reality television show Survivor winner Bob Crowley.

Caldwell’s Sanitation first opened in July; word of mouth has been working for the Caldwells since the inception of the business and the customer base has nearly doubled.
“Customers seem to be the most pleased with our one-on-one service,” explained Robert Caldwell. Customers interact with sanitation truck driver Tom Albert, who was hand selected for the position after working with Caldwell’s for the past 18 months.
“He’s very dedicated to the job and he’s a good driver,” Caldwell added.
“I’ve talked with the customers about pick-up times, and I pick up their garbage at the same time every week,” Albert said.
With competitive pricing — $11.50 for seniors and $12 for standard customer — the new sanitation company is currently accepting new customers in the Limestone/Caswell area and also has a full line of dumpsters of all sizes available for those who require refuse removal on the larger end of the spectrum.
Caldwell’s sanitation also recycles all cardboard on the premises and plans to set up cardboard drop-off points in the future.
