Kish, Barbara S., 67, Woodland, at Caribou, August 8, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., August 11, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the care of Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


AR Barvara KishWoodland – Barbara S. Kish, 67, died August 8, 2010, at Caribou surrounded by her family. She was born in Caribou, September 16, 1942, the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Kennard) Michaud. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed at Potato Service for ten years, Cyr Foods in Caribou for several years as well as Mecon for 10 years, prior to opening her own business, Kish’s Ceramics. She married Michael L Kish December 21, 1961. Barbara was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and will be remembered for her love of animals and her family.  

Surviving in addition to her husband of over 48 years, Michael of Woodland, are two sons, Michael J. Kish of Milford and Richard C. Kish and his wife, Jennifer of Woodland; four grandchildren, Lindsae Hadley and her husband, Ryan, Katrina Kish and her fiancé, Jeremy McIntyre, Michael W. Kish and Dezirae Kish; her great-granddaughter, Emma McIntyre; her brothers and sisters, Violet, Albert, Judy, Peter, Patrick and Patricia. Mrs. Kish was predeceased by her son, Timothy and a sister, Anita.

Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
