Cadet 2nd Lt Levi Swan of Woodland achieved one of his many goals recently at Waterville Airport. After attending the Civil Air Patrol Flight Academy in Augusta, he completed his first solo flight in a CAP Cessna 172. Swan was one of five cadets in Maine to complete the solo flight. Cadet Swan is the son of Charles and Sandra Swan and the Cadet Commander of the County Composite Squadron based at the Caribou Airport.
