LIMESTONE — Herman Gaskins of Limestone has been voluntering his time with the Limestone Fire Department for 23 years. “I joined for the experience and to help others,” he said, stressing how important it is to safe guard your family and home from fire.
Herman and his wife, Pauline, have three children — two boys and one girl.
When he’s not adding to his extensive firefighter resume, Herman is a transportation supervisor at the Loring Job Corps Center and likes to go bowling.
His favorite food is steak, and he enjoys listening to jazz music.
