WOODLAND — It was an emotional evening at the Woodland Consolidated School on June 10 as twelve eighth-grade students entered their graduation ceremony wearing Woodchuck blue and white for the last time.

Class Marshall Jessika Kovach led the Class of 2010 to the stage, where salutatorian Dylan Theriault welcomed the crowd to the graduation and thanked each and every member of the faculty and staff at the Woodland school.
Valedictorian Megan Bither was the recipient of the 2010 Secretary of State eighth-grade Citizenship Award of the Woodland Consolidated School as presented by Principal Susan Schloeman. Principal Schloeman also presented the academic awards to Collin Patterson, who had a 97.3 in language arts; Bither, who had a 98.6 in mathematics; Dylan Theriault, who had a 94.6 in science and Mariesa Sarmiento, who had a 100.3 in Social Studies.
“Congratulations to the Class of 2010,” Principal Schloeman told the graduates, “May you have much success.”
The graduates themselves had a lot to say during graduation and their chosen representatives eloquently spoke parting words for the Class of 2010; Alex Losieniecki presented the class history, Matt Manter and Derik Michaud presented the Class Prophesy and Mariesa Sarmiento and Collin Patterson presented the Class Will.
The twelve graduates included: valedictorian Megan Donna Bither, Selena Lynn Felix, Jessika Day Kovach, Brittney Lee LaPointe, Robert Alex Losieniecki, Matthew John Manter, Derik Stephen Michaud, Collin Ray Patterson, Mariesa Lynn Sarmiento, Timothy John Shaw, Chelsea Lynn Theriault and salutatorian Dylan C. Theriault.
They will attend the Caribou High School in the fall.
