Racing began anew Sunday at Spud Speedway. Celebrating with a Bangor Motorsports Opening Day event, drivers had picture perfect conditions for a full day of racing. The following is a recap of race winners:

Limestone Community School will honor its spring athletes at the sports awards night on Monday, June 7. Members of high school and middle school spring sports teams will be recognized.
The program begins at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
