Video Central opens on Bennett Drive

    Video Central, located at 124 Bennett Drive in Caribou (next to Miller’s Discount) is now open for business. “As Movie Gallery was closing its’ locations throughout the state, we purchased a lot of what they had left for stock,” stated Eric Cassidy, owner of the new movie rental operation.

    “We’re looking to provide a service to the public,” said Cassidy, “Renting a movie or a game is relatively inexpensive, we’ll be offering specials and will have new releases on our shelves the first day they become available.” The business has provided work for four part-time employees.
    With the walls and shelf units displaying all genres of film Cassidy said his new business will offer  movie and game rentals, as well as titles which may be purchased and also product in Blu Ray.
    Customers must be 18 years of age to rent at Video Central but registration takes less than a minute. Some of the rental plans will include: $3.50 for two night rentals on new releases; rent 10 get one free; game rentals, five nights for $7.99 and new customers can rent one and receive one free. Cassidy also commented that games will be available for purchase starting at $4.99.
    Business hours are: Monday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Telephone: 492-1957.
