Caribou – Delray L. Andrews Sr., 70, passed away May 15, 2010, at a Caribou hospital. Delray was born in Caribou, March 27, 1940, the son of Cecil Andrews and Francis Langley.
Delray spent his life surrounded by his family. He always enjoyed watching a good western movie. He also loved camping, and fishing area brooks and streams; especially at Blackstone Siding.
Delray will be greatly missed by: his loving wife Lorrianne Andrews of fifty-one years, his sons Delray L. Andrew Jr. of Caribou and Mark G. Andrews of the U.S. Air Force, his daughters Maureen F. Andrews of Arizona, Lisa L. Sanchez and her fiancée Mark R. Daigle of Presque Isle, and Stacy S. Andrews of Caribou, his mother Francis Langley, his brothers Wade Monti, Michael Loughnan, and sisters Darleen LaFleur, Regina Weaver and Linda Hartley, his aunt Florence Newbegin, seven grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delray was predeceased by his father, Cecil Andrews and his sister Shirley Blanford.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, at the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 20, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou, with the Reverend Aaron Damboise celebrant.
