ELMIRA, N.Y.— Elmira College has released its dean’s list for academic achievement for the fall 2009 term. The dean’s list recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher for the fall 2009 academic term
Christopher Jenkins, son of Mark and Robin Jenkins of Fort Fairfield, class of 2010, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 academic term. Jenkins is majoring in history and English literature.
ORONO — Recently, the faculty and staff of the University of Maine recognized 2,682 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the fall 2009 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 2,299 are from Maine, 320 are from out of state, and 63 are from foreign countries.
Area students making the Deans List included:
Meagan Bossie, Travis Bouchard, Casey Lancaster, Vincent Lewis, Cassandra Lueneburg, Daniel Morneault, Jessica Ouimet, Allison Richards, Ria Saunders, Briant Sirois, Caleb Swanberg and Micah Wall, all of Caribou: Morgan Dustin of Caswell; Ryan Schieber of Limestone; Alex Morrow and Ryan Smith, both of Washburn; Taylor Jepson, Jesse Stephens and Matthew Trombley, all of Woodland; and Christopher Gustafson of New Sweden.
