    The York Street ski tow was the place to be in 1959 as the Caribou Rec Department offered a Ladies Day and night skiing from 7-9 p.m. on the lighted slope two times a week. Among those participating during the local downhill ski season were, from left, Mrs. Meade Hayward, Mrs. Sterling Tibbetts, Mrs. Whitcomb Shaw, Mrs. Gordon Espling, Mrs. Harry Kramer, Mrs. Nathan O. Currier, Mrs. Robert Nisbet, Mrs. James Martin and Mrs. Frederick Vogell.
