Money may not grow on trees, but the donation of Christmas tree sales proceeds from S.W. Collins owner Sam Collins to the Caribou Athletic Department has student athletes seeing green. Almost $300 was donated by the business for the athletes which will be distributed through the Athletic Boosters for various projects. Though only one of the ways that S.W. Collins contributes to the community, Christmas tree proceeds specifically have always been donated toward various educational aspects, including athletics and music programs.
