McLaughlin, Beulah, 98, Augusta and Limestone, January 10, 2010. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., January 15, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., January 16 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone.
AUGUSTA & LIMESTONE – Mrs. McLaughlin passed away Sunday January 10, 2010, of natural causes. She had not been sick very long. Beulah made her home with daughter Christina and husband Bill Latham in Mt. Vernon, ME, and son Lloyd and wife Nancy McLaughlin in Fort Fairfield, ME. She had lived for many years at the Mountain View complex In Limestone ME.
Beulah was born in Limestone the oldest of 12 children born to George Reid and Viola (Davenport) Curry on September 26, 1911. She was pre-deceased by all siblings except for two sisters, Avis Cantafio of Limestone and Eliza Ward and husband Richard formally of Limestone, now living in Lewiston, ME. she also was predeceased by her husband George and daughter Nathalie Ann McLaughlin. Beulah had a great life and was very active in community affairs, church and worked until the age of 72.
Surviving is Louis R. H. McLaughlin and wife Lorraine, Lloyd and wife Nancy McLaughlin of Fort Fairfield, Christina and husband Bill Latham of Mt. Vernon, ME. and Camilla Lee Roix of Groveland MA; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by special friends Louie and June Peers of Limestone.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010, at the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone with the Rev. Raymond Morency celebrant. Following the service there will be a time of refreshments in the church fellowship hall. Committal services will take place in the spring at Advent Cemetery in Limestone.
