Kaylee Faith Peers, came into the new decade on Jauary 7, and has already claimed her first title — that of being Cary Medical Center’s 2010 New Year’s Baby. Born to Jennifer and Chad Peers of Limestone, Kaylee Faith arrived the evening of Jan.7, 2010 at 7:11 p.m. weighing six pounds and six ounces. The New Year’s Baby and her parents received gifts from Cary Medical Center and the Cary Medical Center Auxiliary. Each auxiliary member donates an item to the New Year’s Baby Basket, a project that members have coordinated and made personal donations to for the past five years. The Cary Medical Center Auxiliary has 20 active members and hosts various fund-raisers with proceeds going to support a number of hospital projects. Not shown in the photo are auxiliary members who presented the New Year’s Basket to Kaylee and her parents; they include Mary Harrigan, Jeannette Corriveau, Dot Wakem and Gail Michaud.
