State Rep. Bernard Ayotte (R-Caswell), recently presented Norman and Verna Johndro of Limestone with a Legislative Sentiment in recognition of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple exchanged marriage vows April 1, 1959 at the St. Louis Catholic church in Limestone with Fr. Theodore Dugal officiating. The sentiment read, “We the members of the Senate and House of Representatives, join the family of Norman and Verna in extending our congratulations and best wishes. May they enjoy many additional years of happiness together.”
