Saves Rudolph for Christmas Eve travels

Santa sits patiently waiting for area children to tell him what they would like for Christmas during a recent Christmas party held at the Perkins/Plourde American Legion Post Home in Stockholm.
There was tremendous excitement when Santa (Graydon Sodergren) and his sack of toys arrived on an ATV pulled by sled dogs, courtesy of Kevin Quist of Stockholm.
An estimated 60 children were treated to a free holiday lunch and a chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes. The holiday visitors also received a bag of candy and an age-appropriate toy.
Santa’s helpers during the event included Leigh St. Peter, Kathy Robinson and Margaret Johnson.
