Caribou – Helen M. Bomaster, 87, died October 29, 2009, at Presque Isle. She was born in Caribou July 27, 1922, the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Kelley) Bubar. Mrs. Bomaster was employed by the Birds Eye division of General Foods as well as Potato Service for a number of years. She attended the Caribou United Baptist Church and was a volunteer at the Nylander Museum. She was also a member of the Cary Seniority Program.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Waggener of Fryeburg and Sally Bomaster of Bridgewater; one sister, Ina Chomka of Cumberland, R.I.; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bomaster was predeceased by her husband, Blanchard Bomaster, in 1978; a son, Herman Earl Bomaster; a daughter, Patricia Wilson and two granddaughters, Cindy and Lynda Wilson.
