Deputy Council Chair Jennifer Trombley and Presque Isle City Manager Tom Stevens joined those present at City Council’s Monday night meeting in recognizing Nancy Nichols as the 2009 Clerk of the Year. At right, Nichols holds a plaque the city was presented when she received her award during the Maine Municipal Association’s annual meeting in October, during a ceremony held at the Augusta Civic Center. Nichols is the 17th recipient and the first Aroostook County clerk to receive the award.
