CARIBOU — What better way to record the seasons of your life than by attending Croptoberfest on Oct. 17 at the Hilltop Elementary school?

Two-year-old Joslyn Griffeth of Limestone was all smiles as she modeled this unique hat from Jan’s Crafts, which was part of the Made in Aroostook booth, featured at the third annual Fall and Winter Expo held at The Forum in Presque Isle. Jan’s Crafts is owned by Janice Bouchard of Fort Kent, who was also representing Bouchard Family Farm, at the event.
Funds generated from individuals attending the scrap booking event will benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation; many Creative Memories products will be available for use, including new Make-A-Wish products such as the Starburst boarder punch.
Admission to the event is free, with donations for the organization being collected at the door. An all-day event (from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.), it seems to be shaping up to be a great way to record personal history and finally do something with that box of photos.
