To the editor:
We have been so thankful that a neighboring landowner has given us permission to keep our dog sledding equipment on his private property near the Jemptland Road trail head in New Sweden for the last two years. We were in total shock when we arrived there Saturday morning with a trailer filled with excited huskys to find that our ATV with no motor had been stolen. This is the only way we can get our huskies in shape before snow. We have plans for some major races this year to include the Can Am and Eagle Lake 100.
We are asking if anybody knows what happened to our training rig to please let us know ASAP. We aren’t looking to prosecute anyone, we just want to train our sled dogs now that the weather is cool. Please return our motorless ATV!
