The 26th annual Cary Classic Benefit Golf Tournament is scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, at Caribou Country Club. The tourney is a major fundraiser of the Jefferson Cary Foundation, and Time Warner Cable is back for its fifth year as the lead sponsor.
Tee times are 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on both days. The registration fee of $75 for CCC members and $85 for non-members includes a golf shirt, a practice round on Friday, July 10; 36 holes of tournament play and tickets to the awards banquet on Sunday, July 12.

There will be four divisions for men and two for women. Longest drive and closest to pin competitions will be held.
The first hole-in-one on the par-three 34th hole wins $25,000.

Proceeds from the tourney will benefit the new mammography center at Cary Medical Center.
