Hammer, Adeline, 90, Caribou, at Caribou, June 11, 2009.  Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

    CARIBOU – Adeline Hammer, 90, wife of the late George Hammer, died June 11, 2009 at Caribou. She was born at Woodland, September 20, 1918, the daughter of Fred and Annie (St.Germain) Bell. She was employed at Potato Service for several years.  Adeline was a lifelong member of the Caribou Assembly of God Church and was also a member of the Seniority Program.
    Adeline is survived by three sons, Bernard “Bunny” Doak and his wife Betty of Deland, Fla., Phil Doak and his wife Jackie of Woodland and Russell Doak and his wife Charlotte of Caribou; a daughter, Helen Ouellette and her husband Wayne of Griswold, Conn.; one sister, Pearl Belanger and husband Clairmond of Caribou, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Janice Wright. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George; a son Robert Doak; three brothers Joseph, William and Philip Bell and two sisters Irene Doody and Clara Bell.   
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009 from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev.  Raymond Sullivan, officiating.  Interment took place in the Fairview Cemetery, Perham.  Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Adeline may do so to the Cary Jefferson Foundation, P.O.
