Good crowned Miss Limestone 2009

    CARIBOU — While Caitlin Rae Good was crowned Miss Limestone 2009, all three contestants, including Desiree Mattoon and Kylie Raye Mulherin, showed the audience that regardless of who became Queen, Limestone is home to some very articulate and talented ladies.

    Caitlin Rae Good was crowned Miss Limestone 2009 on May 31 during the pageant, themed Glamorous Life, at the Limestone Community School.

    The pageant, held at the Limestone Community School on May 31, was themed “Glamorous Life” and sponsored by the Miss Limestone Scholarship Pageant.
    While additional entertainment was provided by Miss Limestone 2008 Kalli Cote, Little Miss Limestone 2009 Taylor Devoe, Junior Miss Limestone 2009 Jordyn Hopkins and Little Miss Limestone 2008 Emily Michaud, the contestants showcased their unique abilities during the talent competition.
    Desiree Mattoon, sponsored by the Rendezvous Restaurant, sang “Only Hope” by Mandy Moore.
    Miss Limestone 2009 Caitlin Rae Good, sponsored by Gilles Michaud Farms, performed a dance routine to “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias.
    Kylie Raye Mulherin, sponsored by Kelley’s Gun Shop, performed a comedic dance to “Evolution of Dance.”
    Good, earning the title of Miss Limestone 2009, also received the award of Highest Ticket Sales. Mattoon won the Miss Photogenic Award and Mulherin was all smiles receiving the Miss Congeniality award.
    The pageant committee consisted of Director Vicki Page, Chairperson Sharon St. Pierre, Co-Chairperson Karen Stackhouse, Stage Choreographer Sheena Page, Treasurer Kenneth Stackhouse, Dressing room manager Karen Stackhouse, Sound and Lights technician Ken Stackhouse, Curtain Operator Mallory and Mindy Patten, and Stage Decorators Vicki Page and Karralena Castaway.
    The Pageant committee gave special thanks to the contestants and parents, the judges and auditors, LCS administration and custodians, Ken Stackhouse, Carla Cote, Tracie and Scott Helstrom, Kalli Cote and Taylor Devoe.

    Desiree Mattoon won the Miss Photogenic Award during the 2009 Miss Limestone pageant, which was presented to her by Miss Limestone 2008 Kalli Cote.
