Meet Emmett, a 7-week-old male orphan tiger kitten living in a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home, who is hoping that when he is at least 56 days old (state law) that he will have found someone who wants to love him forever. Emmett also has two beautiful gray long-hair sisters who will be ready at the same time. Halfway Home has three other mixed-litters of orphan kittens who need several weeks of additional care before they are adoptable. Anyone thinking of adding a kitten to their family, should consider waiting for these babies to reach the appropriate legal age of adoption. Halfway Home provides approximately $130 of medical care for each kitten including a ‘fully paid spay/neuter voucher’ for when the youngster reaches maturity. Beginning on June 1, the adoption fee for kittens under the age of four months is only $40. We appreciate your continued support at our booth at the Valley Woodworking Flea Market on Route 1 in Caribou across from Crown Park Inn. This weekly fund-raiser is earning approximately two male cat neuters per month. 88 Bennett Drive Redemption continues to earn at least one female cat spay a week. Thank you for your continual support of these animals. For more information call Norma at 896-5650.
