It’s officially Spring. Time to think about cleaning up around the house, raking the lawn, begin thinking about your flower or vegetable garden and — time to plant a tree.     Caribou residents have only today through Friday to purchase a tree through the Caribou Sesquicentennial Committee. As of April 1, Kathy Mazzuchelli, sesquicentennial committee member, said there have been 125 trees ordered — that makes 25 left to fulfill the goal of 150 in honor of Caribou’s 150th birthday.
For $110 per tree, Caribou citizens can help the committee reach its goal. It’s Caribou’s birthday — Be a part of it and plant a tree—after all, this is where our roots are.
