Caribou Pet Food Pantry

The Friends of Madawaska Lake Homeless Cats, are providing a pet food pantry (dogs and cats) for families having a difficult time.     The Presque Isle Animal Hospital is providing free use of their space at the Caribou PIAH Clinic on Herschel St. on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  There is still some dog food there art this time. The new shipment of cat food, cat litter and dog food will be in shortly after Jan. 9, as well as some cleaning supplies.
Individuals who are aware of families needing food for their pets are encouraged to inform them of this pantry or stop in and pick up the animal food for them.
Anyone wishing to  help stock this animal food pantry may drop items off at the facility, which in return will help others keep their pets fed this winter instead of having to turn them into a shelter.
This service is provided by the combined efforts of the Madawaska Lake Homeless Cats, located at 773 South Shore Rd., Stockholm, and the Presque Isle Animal Hospital.
