Rene Laliberty and P.J. Gornault, both of Caribou, are pleased to announce their engagement. The future bride, the daughter of Pam Pace of Caribou and Roland Laliberty of Dixfield, is a 1987 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and earned a BS degree in education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She is currently employed as an academic counselor for UMPI’s Upward Bound program.
Gornault, a 1997 graduate of Caribou High School, holds a BS degree in physical education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and is currently employed at the Caribou Middle School where he teaches physical education.
The couple plan an August 8, 2009 wedding.
