Men’s 30 and over basketball
    Men’s 30 and over basketball meets Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-noon at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center There is a $3 per player fee on Sundays.
 Adult volleyball
    The recreation department is offering a pick-up volleyball league for area adults on Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. through April 20, 2009.
    Please note time change. Participants must be out of high school.
Snow Tubing
    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is offering Snow Tubing at Big Rock for youths in grades 6-8 on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
    The fee for this trip is $14 and is limited to the first 13 registrants. Join us as we take it outside and go snow tubing at Big Rock in Mars Hill. Pre-registration is required.
Big Rock Lift Tickets
    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is offering Big Rock lift tickets at a reduced price to area residents.         Junior tickets for youths ages 6-17 are $19 each and adult lift tickets are $24 each.
    The tickets are available at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center office.
Teens only Fridays
    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce they will be offering Friday teen nights throughout the course of the winter.
    The nights are specifically reserved for students in grades 6-8 and will run from 6-9 p.m.         There will be both organized and spontanteous activities complimented with occasional music and even movies.
    Teens only Fridays are Dec. 19, Jan. 9 and 23 and March 6 and 20.
Rock Climbing and Swimming
    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is offering a rock climbing and snow shoeing trip to Gentile hall on Friday, Jan. 2 for youths in grades 6-8.
    The fee for this trip is $7 and is limited to the first 13 registrants. Join us as we take it outside and go rock climbing and swimming at the Gentile Hall at UMPI.
