Small Steps to begin winter registration
Small Steps Dance is accepting registrations for its winter dance session, which begins Jan. 4, 2009 at the Caribou Recreation Department.

The Limestone Community School PTSA will be hosting a night of basketball for alumni on Saturday, Dec. 27 at the LCS gym.
The first game starts at 6 p.m. for girls alumni playing against LCS varsity girls team.
The boys alumni with play the LCS varsity boys team immediately following.
The cost for alumni to participate is $5 and spectators may come out to watch the games as well.
Adults are $3 each and Students/Seniors $2. Concessions will be available that evening. Hope to see you Dec. 27!

UMPI hosts three-day baseball clinic for kids
The men’s baseball team at the University of Maine at Presque Isle is hosting a three-day baseball clinic for boys and girls ages 7 to 12 Dec. 29 – 31 at the university’s Wieden Hall.
The clinic, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon, will feature instruction in basic skills including form throwing, hitting, base running, and fielding of both ground ball and fly balls.
The day’s events will conclude with an actual indoor modified baseball game.
Cost for the entire clinic is $60 per participant, with proceeds used to support travel expenses for the UMPI baseball team.
