The Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Corporation recently held the drawing for the 2009 Honda Scooter raffle. The lucky winner is Alice Hammond of Harrington. “I’d like to thank everyone that supported this fund-raiser. Funds raised will be used for continued improvements at the cemetery,” said Harry C. Hafford, chairperson of the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Committee.
Over $3,500 was raised for the Cemetery Footbridge Project.
