CARIBOU – Evelyn Mary Beardsley, 68, wife of Boyce Beardsley Sr., died November 28, 2008 at Caribou. She was born at Caribou, February 3, 1940, the daughter of John and Celina (Morrow) Doucette. She was a graduate of the Caribou High School and was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. Evelyn was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the Henry B. Pratt Post #15 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Boyce of Caribou; a son, Orrick Damboise of Caribou; three brothers, Raymond Doucette and his wife Donna, John Doucette and his wife Bernadette and Kenneth Doucette Sr. all of Caribou; two sisters, Lorraine Green of Presque Isle and Nancy Marie Doucette, of Van Buren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Lorie Hemphill of Bangor.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Fr. Aaron Damboise officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial.
