Madison Doody, 11 year-old daughter of Scott and Kelli Doody of Caribou, had a good dose of opening day luck this fall when. after baiting her own bait site, she took down an 88 pound male bear. Her hunt was completed on Youth Hunting Day, when the Caribou Middle School sixth-grader shot an 80 pound “Button Buck.”
