Norma Milton is going back to her 2005 hobby of helping stray cats. She will only be able to help a few cats at a time as she has limited space. The program will be funded through collection jars placed in area businesses and by the collection of returnable bottles. This funding will be used to provide food, litter, cleaning supplies, medical care and spaying/neutering for cats in need from nearby communities. The cats will receive about $130 in medical care and will be adopted out with only a $10 adoption fee. The education program will be restarted by spring.
If at any time extra funds are available, they will be solely used to spay/neuter animals for low-income families. This will be strictly a feline expense oriented refuge for cats in need.
88 Bennett Drive Redemption Center in Caribou will accept returnable bottles and cans and will apply it to the account of Madawaska Lake Homeless Cats. Please help.
