Mars Hill Rotary
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Dec. 16 at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center. There will be no meeting on Dec. 23.
The special speaker was Ralph McPherson, assistant district governor for this area. He spoke about the seven clubs he works with: Limestone, Ashland, Mars Hill, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Caribou and Washburn.
He attends club meetings regularly and holds periodic meetings with the presidents of the clubs so each club knows what the others are doing. He hopes to help get the word out about Rotary, showcase what Rotary does both locally, nationally and internationally, and recruit new members.
