CARY main parking lot to be re-surfaced

Administrators at Cary Medical Center would like to inform all hospital and Maine Veterans Home patients and visitors, that, weather permitting, on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 18 and 19, the main campus parking area will be undergoing renovations.    According to Jim Cavagnaro, Cary’s Facilities Manager, one-half of the main parking lot will be closed on each day as crews work to repave the surface.
“We will be working very hard to minimize any inconvenience our parking lot renovation project may cause our patients, staff and visitors, so we will have parking attendants available all throughout the day and early evening hours to direct traffic and assist with vehicle parking,” Cavagnaro explained. “All Cary and Maine Veterans Home employee parking will be directed to the back of the hospital to free up parking space for our patients and visitors. Access to our main entrance, emergency room, one day surgery and other ancillary departments will remain open at all times, and there will also continue to be a clear roadway directly to the Maine Veterans’ Home,” he explained.
