The Caribou Post Office at 41 Sweden Street will host a free public demonstration for residents to show how easy it is to use their home or work computer to purchase and print postage and shipping labels for their letters and packages and then have them picked up for delivery. ”Getting started with online shipping is a breeze,” said Caribou Postmaster Lisa Cantafio. “It’s easy and convenient to ship single, several, or large volumes of packages. And by saving our customers a trip to the Post Office, we can save them gas, too.”
“Online shipping also can result in customer discounts for Priority Mail, Express Mail, and international shipping,” said USPS Small Business Specialist David Dyer, who will host the seminar. “Free discounted Delivery Confirmation, Free Priority Mail and Express Mail boxes, eco-friendly packaging and free Carrier pick-up are also featured.”
This seminar even explains how to use online shipping to great advantage for the growing number of residents who use eBay.
The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 4 to 5 p.m. Admission is free but seating is limited. To reserve a seat or for further details, contact Caribou Postmaster Lisa Cantafio at 207-493-3304.
