CARIBOU – The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court in Caribou during the month of August, 2008.
Phillip M. Pierce, 29, Easton: unlawful furnishing scheduled drug, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $500 fine and 90 days in jail with all but 30 days suspended. Arnold E. Robinson, 47, Caribou: probation violation, 90 days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
Christopher Saunders, 20, Caribou: probation violation, 45 days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
Rodney D. Saunders, 28, Limestone: aggravated criminal trespass, 48 hours in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
Jamie J. Sneddon, 25, Fort Fairfield: assault, 15 days in jail; domestic violence assault, $500 fine and 75 days in jail; violating condition of release, 10 days in jail.
Joseph Sperrey, 43, Caribou: failing to stop all terrain vehicle, filed with $400 court costs.
Kori Tupper, 25, Fort Fairfield: Theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, seven days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $500 fine and 48 hours in jail; violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
Lisa M. Turner, 42, Presque Isle: unlawful furnishing scheduled drug, $1,000 fine, two years in prison, two years’ probation and 800 hours community service.
Robert A. Van Houten, 27, Presque Isle: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drug, $3,500 fine, six years in prison with all but 18 months suspended, three years’ probation and $300 restitution.
Pierre J. Verret, 32, Grand Isle: unsworn falsification (two counts), dismissed (first) and 21 days in jail (second); illegal possession of firearm or crossbow, dismissed; fraudulently obtaining license or permit, 21 days in jail; illegal possession of firearm or crossbow, 21 days in jail.
Joshua M. Von Merta, 29, Caribou: criminal threatening, $250 fine and 15 days in jail.
Blaine E. Wilkins, 23, Caribou: robbery (six counts), six years in prison (for each of five counts), 12 years in prison with all but six years suspended, four years’ probation and $20,651 restitution (second count); illegal possession of firearm or crossbow, five years in prison; tampering with witness, informant, juror or victim, six years in prison; terrorizing, 364 days in jail; criminal threatening with dangerous weapon, five years in prison; aggravated criminal trespass, $400 fine and five years in prison; stealing drugs, five years in prison; elevated aggravated assault, six years in prison; aggravated assault, six years in prison.
