PRESQUE ISLE – Frenchie’s Domestic Services, Inc., owned and operated by Margot Burnett, is designed to meet a variety of needs around the home, from cleaning to errands. Burnett, a French Canadian formerly of Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick, was living in Edmundston, N.B., when she met her future American husband. After marrying, the couple moved to Maine, taking up residence for nearly 10 years in Brooks. They subsequently moved to Presque Isle for Burnett to be closer to her family.
Her past work experience with @WORK Personal Services, a temporary employment service she worked with for about eight years, brought her much enjoyment as she provided great positions for employees and provided clients with a great staff to meet their needs. Upon moving to Aroostook County, Burnett sought employment in a similar setting. Thus was born Frenchie’s Domestic Services, Inc.
Burnett hopes to make her clients’ lives easier with the help of Frenchie’s. The services provided could be anything that would be non-medical in the home, including: cleaning, doing errands, house sitting, pet care, child care, light gardening, daily living assistance, homemaker and parent’s helper.
“As the result of people working harder than ever, more and more individuals are willing to pay for services that make their daily lives easier,” said Burnett, noting staff will be insured and bonded to work in your home. “I will give my clients back their free time, while providing them with the peace of mind that tasks or requests they will give me will be performed efficiently and with care.”

“I will find the best match for your needs and all you have to worry about is paying your bill once a week for the tasks performed,” said Burnett.
