
Katahdin Trust Company Senior Vice President Retail Services Bonnie Foster has announced the promotion of Mark W. King to assistant vice president and retail services officer. “We are pleased to recognize Mark as he has earned this designation for his commitment and contributions to Katahdin Trust Company,” said Foster.
King, a Houlton native, received his associates degree in business administration from Northern Maine Community College. He is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking in Durham, N.H. and has earned a general banking diploma from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.
King joined the Credit Control Department of Katahdin Trust Company in 1995 and has served in a variety of positions, including manager of the Island Falls office, manager and retail services officer at the Patten and Mars Hill offices, and most recently as retail services officer in Houlton. In his new position he will continue to be responsible for retail lending and business development in the Houlton area.
Active in community and professional organizations he currently serves as a member of the Board of Appeals for the town of Littleton and a member of the Southern Aroostook Vocational Education Business Technology Craft Committee. King resides in Littleton.
