HOULTON, Maine — Cross country runners from Houlton and Katahdin were among those receiving honors from the Penobscot Valley Conference for their accomplishments on the course and in the classroom this fall.
Houlton seniors Victoria Holmes, Kate Newman, Rylee Warman, Isaiah Brown and Tim Glatter were named to the All-Academic team for Class C. Brown was also named to the boys’ First Team for his impressive showing this season.
For the girls, Jordyn Ritchie, a junior at Katahdin Middle-High School, and Warman were named to the PVC Second team.
