Brandon Dunn has been selected by Prospects Hockey to play for their Junior A team May 1 at the Michigan Pre-draft Showcase powered by Harrow Sports in Canton, Mich. The Pre-draft Showcase offers eligible premier Junior A teams and players exposure to scouts from all over North America.
The tournament showcase will feature up to 36 teams. Dunn is honored to have such an opportunity to play at this level at the age of 15. The Prospects Hockey team consists of junior players from four different countries and will be coached by GMHL Seguin Huskies head coach Gary Astalos.
Dunn, the oldest son of Terri and David Dunn, is a freshman at Houlton High School. He is an employee at S.W. Collins Company in Houlton.
Dunn has grown up playing youth hockey for the Southern Aroostook Minor Hockey Association (SAMHA) and he has also had the opportunity to attend many hockey schools, power-skating clinics, while playing on numerous AA, AAA and Select Teams through the United States and Canada.
