Area residents named at Biola University
LA MIRADA, CALIF. — The following local residents were among 1,666 students named to Biola University’s fall 2014 dean’s list for academic excellence:
Madeline Burns and Marissa Drake, both of Houlton, earned the recognition.
Dean’s list placement honors those with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 of more credit units and whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.2. This past fall, 38 percent of Biola students achieved this academic goal.
