“Little All-Stars” Sports Class held Fridays in October
The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department is once again offering its Little All-Stars sports class for boys and girls ages 4-5.
Participants will be introduced to five different sports, including basketball, soccer, floor hockey, football and T-ball. Through games and instruction, the focus will be on fun and the basic fundamentals of each sport.
Classes are held at the Presque Isle Recreation Center each Friday from 10:30 to 11:20 am. The program runs from Oct, 3-31. The fee for the program is $15 and registration begins Sept. 15.
Grades 3-4 basketball registration starts soon
Registration for the Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department’s grades 3-4 basketball program will begin Sept. 29, with schedules coming out Oct. 21. The registration fee is $15 and a $5 late fee will be added to all registrations taken after Oct. 20.
The program offers leagues for both boys and girls. Practices and games are held weekdays after school at the community center and begin the last week in October.
