The John Birch Society is hosting Mr. Dan McGonigle, author of “Execute the Laws to Enforce the Constitution” in Aroostook County
McGonigle will give an historical overview of state militias, what the Maine and U.S. constitutions say about militias, how and why they were created, how they were unconstitutionally disbanded by legislation in the early part of the last century and the need to restore constitutional militias.
He will appear Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at The Horn Restaurant, 380 North St. (U.S. Route 1), Houlton. The event is free. Donations accepted. Attendees may arrive early and order from the menus. For more information, call 857-498-1309.
